Welcome!

I started modeling airplanes back in 1946. The first planes I built were Strombecker solid scale models, the first flying Model was a Control Line 1/2A American Boy with a Spitzy .045. Mostly, as a child I built and flew Free Flight, rubber and towline Gliders. I still retain a stong interest in those areas although today its mostly CL.  I am a member of the Skylancers of Washington DC, (SLOW Club) and The Navy Carrier Society (NCS)
